With an original keyboard score performed live each night by Neil Alexander.

"Shakespeare Unplugged" is a format unique to JSC that features actors on book in a rich environment of clear storytelling, dynamic visual elements, and live music. Come, hear a play!

Fortune brings in some boats that are not steered” Act 4, Scene 3 - In ancient Britain, a princess goes on a fantastic journey for love, and in the process reunites her shattered family and kingdom. Rarely performed, Cymbeline is a delightfully charming fairytale featuring elements of comedy, tragedy, history, and romance - with some of Shakespeare’s most extraordinary language and characters. Unique - magical – in JSC’s own original style – with actors who bring the language to life – and almost all women!

This production is made possible by the generous support of the New York State Council on the Arts, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Mr. Charles E. Bockwith, and JSC’s many generous individual donors.
